Analysis of Effects of Recent Changes in Hydrothermal Conditions on Vegetation in Central Asia

Understanding the relationship of hydrothermal conditions to vegetation changes is conducive revealing feedback mechanism connecting climate variations and vegetation. Based on methods Theil–Sen median analysis, Mann–Kendall trend test, this research investigated spatiotemporal dynamics in Central Asia using Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) grid data from 1982 2015. Further, contributions were quantified a boosted regression tree model (BRT). The results demonstrated that characteristics exhibited significant differences different seasons, most pixels showed increasing trends growing season spring. Boosted analysis indicated temporal spatial heterogeneity. During annual, season, summer examination periods, contribution value increase warming (temperature or potential evapotranspiration) degradation region due tradeoff effect (water) was 49.92%, 44.10%, 44.95%, respectively.
